What We Believe

Home / About Us / Statement of Faith

West Coast Impact is not a church and does not seek to replace the role of the church in the life of a Christian homeschool family. However, we uphold a statement of faith that clearly defines our beliefs. Our Core Values, Mission, and Vision are firmly grounded in this foundation. It is our faith and relationship with Jesus that make the West Coast Impact community truly unique.

Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible alone is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17, Deuteronomy 4:2, Revelation 22:19, Matthew 24:35, John 1:1)

We believe that God is Triune: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(2 Corinthians 13:14)

We believe that man was created in the image of God but, through voluntary disobedience, fell from perfection, thereby imputing sinfulness to all humanity.
(Romans 5:12)

We believe that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
(John 3:16, Romans 5:8)

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Savior, and the Son of God, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on a cross, and was raised from the grave. He will return as our victorious Lord.

We believe that salvation comes only through Jesus Christ and cannot be earned. It is a gift from God.
(Romans 10:9, Ephesians 2:8)

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is empowered to live a godly life. We further believe that His power and gifts are available to believers today.
(Acts 2:4, Ephesians 4:30-32)

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We affirm that God uses His people as a means to bring the gospel to the world. Jesus commissioned us to make disciples of all nations.
(Matthew 28:19-20)
